Bamboo pottery dividers

It is very easy to make bamboo calipers, all you need is a small brass nut and bolt plus a small O-ring.

Simply drill a hole through both of the bamboo meat skewer and assemble .

I read an article about a device that you can use to divide sections on your pottery.

I used Corel Draw to make the art work then converted to a pdf file format . You can print the pdf file out onto a transparency. I recommend using a film called CS-IJF which I use in my inkjet printer which is used for making printed circuit board negatives and also positives this particular transparency as special coating when you print using your inkjet printer the ink is sealed into its special coating giving you an optimum print.

I use this on pottery that is still damp so I recommend using a laminating pouch when you put this through your laminating machine make sure you sandwich the laminating pouch between two pieces of card, this will reduce any crinkling in the transparency.
